Who I am

In 1990, my wife Cindy and I bought what we thought would be a weekend house in Carversville. We lived in Center City Philadelphia at the time and had vacationed in the Solebury area almost every summer since the early 1980’s. We fell in love with the area, moved here full-time in 1993, and raise our two adult children here.

I’m a big fan of the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, and 76ers and have been working the past few years to learn to play the acoustic guitar. Cindy and I love walking Fleecydale Road to the river with Walker, the Black Lab who is our fourth canine companion to join us on those weekly strolls over the years we’ve lived here

My background

I received my B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and my Law Degree (J.D.) and Masters in Taxation (L.L.M.) from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. I also hold the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College of Financial Services. I have owned and operated a financial services company for more than 30 years, the last 25 in Doylestown. The firm is a Registered Investment Adviser in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining the Board of Supervisors, I was a member of the Solebury Township Historic and Architectural Review Board for two years. I’ve been a Board Member and Secretary of the Historic Carversville Society since 2013, and my family and I have been very active for many years in Carversville Day, HCS’s annual fun and fundraising event. Our specialty is the Pet Parade.
